My C&R license arrived today. 5 months and 4 days. From my original application they could not determine my country of citizenship. Needed to fill out an additional form to declare my citizenship. (Viet Nam Vet., live within 20 miles of where I was born). The only error I see now on my application is that I used WI in the address and birthplace insted of spelling out Wisconsin. Also I work at a Nuclear Power Plant and the FBI did a complete background and security check on all Nuclear Power workers last fall. That may have slowed things down. Anyhow, if you get a quick response with your application, count yourself lucky. This is the Government we are dealing with here. |
