hi, i'm new here but was woundering if any one could help me identify a rifle i just purchesed. this rifle looks just like the one shown on the 1999 historic firearm of the month page with cruffler.com. but all this gun says on the top of the barrol is S then a symble of a crown then the word erfurt 1890.i would like to know if it is a true Geweher 88 Commission rifle. and its value. also any web sites on this gun will be a great help. thank you |
