The Siamese weapon pictured in this site is not a Type 66. It is a Type 46 Rifle Siamese Mauser chambered - actually re-chambered - for the later Type 66 8x52R cartridge. The Type 66 is a much different weapon, chambered for the same cartridge, but based upon the Japanese Type 38 rifle.
